Free ad checker for Facebook, Instagram and Google ads
Paste an ad you've written and see what could get it rejected or cause trouble: Fair Housing wording in real estate ads, missing license details, claims the FTC says need proof, and Google's length and punctuation limits. It's free, it's instant, and you don't need an account.
What it checks
- Every business: claims the FTC says you need proof for, like “guaranteed results” or “#1”, plus testimonials, “free” offers and auto-renewing plans.
- Real estate: Fair Housing wording, the Equal Housing Opportunity statement, and California's license number rule. It also lists what to confirm yourself: the Texas, Florida and California rules on your broker's name and altered photos, and the housing ad targeting limits on Facebook and Google.
- Google search ads: headline and description lengths, how many you have, exclamation marks, emoji and repeats.
- Any ad: blanks left in from a template, like “[Your Business]” or “License #___”.
What it can't check
- Whether a claim is true. It flags claims that need proof; only you know whether you have it.
- Images and video, your landing page, or the targeting you choose in Ads Manager.
- Rules outside these lists, such as your profession's or other states' own advertising rules.
The checker gives educational guidance, not legal advice. You're responsible for the ads you run.
